Greening the Games: Green Duck and the World Equestrian Games
Green Duck is a Composting and Recycling Solutions Company focused on reducing waste by educating consumers about natural, earth-friendly products made from plants. Green Duck sells a wide range of biodegradable to go packaging products to help create a healthier environment and cleaner communities. Green Duck asked Thinkhaus to produce informational graphics and signage for their first large-scale event at the 2010 World Equestrian Games in Lexington, Kentucky.

The sixteen-day event, covered several miles of land and welcomed thousands of people. Green Duck provided all the packaging products for the event and Thinkhaus created the waste prevention signage for Compost, Recyclable and Land filled items. Green Ducks goal was to ‘Green the Games’ and our designs performed. The World Equestrian Games, Green Duck and the Thinkhaus informational signage prevented 56% of garbage from being land filled.
